With over 20 years of professional experience in the social justice advocacy space Nikhol J. Atkins is passionate about well-being and leadership development. She has worked for a host of progressive political campaigns and organizations, but made the leap to leave a position she held for 10 years to pursue her passion of sharing evidenced based well-being practices. After tackling breast cancer, navigating depression, and dealing with life as it lifes, Nikhol wants to share what she's learned with others. Knowing that nourishing the body, mind, and spirit is the key to optimal health for the life we have and aspire to create.

She earned a Master of Arts in Spirituality, Culture & Health, and a graduate certificate in Approaches to Spirituality & Healing. In addition to her formal education, she has invested resources and time into training and experiential understanding of well-being practices that include breathing techniques, trauma informed, and restorative yoga training. She’s a certified yoga and meditation teacher, Well-being Strategist, and Diabetes Prevention Lifestyle Coach. Her education, professional background, and life experiences have shaped her approach. In addition to her passion for mind, body, and spirit health she enjoys traveling, and listening to irreverent podcasts.
